Classroom Resources
Texas Parks & Wildlife has a variety of in-person and on-demand resources for students in early childhood through 12th grade. We also offer teacher training.
Choose from:
- TPWDiscover: Virtual, TEKS-aligned programs
- On-demand videos: Pre-recorded videos with resources
- In-person events: Field trips, classroom visits, career fairs
- Activities and Lessons: Curriculum, loaner trunks and more
- Teacher Training
Searchable spreadsheet
You can also download our searchable TPWD Resources spreadsheet to find TEKS-aligned programs and resources for your students. Search by subject, grade, park and more.
We are continuing to gather and add materials to the spreadsheet, so check back periodically!
Outdoor learning and education programs
Experience the great outdoors. Explore places to visit. Discover nature. Teach using virtual and hands-on resources, or take a training (some programs offer TEA-approved CPE available for teachers). Volunteer to protect wild things and places.
Due to limited staff and availability, TPWD staff are not always available for speaking engagements; speakers are sometimes available through the Texas Master Naturalist Volunteers and Urban Wildlife Biologists programs.
