- May 15, 2024
- GOOD. Water stain; 70 degrees; 48.61 feet below pool. Bass are very active with numbers being caught in open water schools with swimbaits and jerkbaits. Report by Randal Frisbie, Central Texas Fishing Guide, LLC. Bass are on the verge of schooling action with fish feeding shallow along the bank and up in the water column off shore and around marinas. The bite will only improve as the water temperature rises. Topwater baits are working well as well as shallow crankbaits and wake baits. Worms and craws around grass are working as well as a small swimbait in those same areas. Report by Bryan Cotter, Texas Hawgs.
Zebra Mussel Alert To prevent the spread of zebra mussels, the law requires draining of water from boats and onboard receptacles when leaving or approaching public fresh waters. Get details.
