Fishery Management Survey Reports

Under the Statewide Freshwater Fisheries Monitoring and Management Program, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department biologists conduct periodic surveys of freshwater fisheries and prepare detailed reports on their findings. This program is supported by the Federal Aid in Sport Fish Restoration Act.

Large public reservoirs are surveyed every four years. A list of those reservoirs is provided below, with links to summary information from recent surveys. Complete reports are available for download in PDF format. Smaller reservoirs are surveyed as needed. A list of small-reservoir and river reports is provided at the bottom of this page.
